Willis was a member of the Smoky Mountain Romance Writers for a period of time and he was part of my critique group. He came faithfully to our meetings and worked on his story, writing music and lyrics to go with his prose. When I got married he even played at my wedding. He was a very special person to those who knew him.
I'm sorry to hear of his passing and your loss. He will be missed.
