Not sure what to say?

I was stationed with a Willis Boedecker at Meridian Ms
In 1974-75 is this the same one? If you ever asked him how he was doing he would always say--" If I was any better I would be twins."

Sorry to learn of Bo's passing. We were aboard the USS Hancock together working in the Comm/Nav shop. I had communicated with Bo in the past year when his name popped up as a memeber of the USS Hancock Association. It was there that I learned of his passing. Bo was always an interesting character...big as a bear and soft as a bunny-rabbit.

We are very saddened to learn of the passing of our dear friend and neighbor of many, many years. He was an historian and gentleman of the highest standards. We thank him for his service to his country and dedication to the community. He will be missed.

I'm so sorry to learn of Bo's passing. Gail and I are saddened by this news and wished we could have attended the memorial today. Dudley and my mom always spoke fondly about Bo. I pray that God will give you strength and peace as you grieve his loss.

Deepest condolences to the Boedecker Family. Growing up with his sons and daughter, he was always Mr. Boedecker - a sign of deep respect and considered his family as an extension of my own. You will be missed.

Sincerely,

John
