Not sure what to say?

Papa,
I feel like the luckiest person in the world to have had a Grandfather as wonderful as you. I want to thank you for all the lessons you taught me and for all the wonderful times we were able to spend together here on earth during my 29+ years. God, Family, and Friends is how you lived and how you taught us to live. I know that I have not always lived in that order all the time but i sure try. I will miss you until the day we are able to see each other again sitting with the Lord. I...

I know the Byrd family from Milner Church. I was good friends with Paula, and I remember how sweet and friendly her father always was to me. He always had a smile. I'm very sorry for the Byrd family's loss.

To the Byrd Family:

I'll always remember Paul as the one who carried a notepad with him while walking at the mall. He wanted to remember everyone's name so he could say hello.

May God bless each one of you as you go through this difficult time!

Love and more love,
Nancy Corson

Our prayers are with you guys. I know Willis Paul was a special man. I enjoyed the many talks we had over the years. I think the conversations I had with Willis Paul were in three areas: Wolfpack Sports; Golf and his Buick. We compared notes on our Buicks! I have a verse for you: "The desires of this world will pass away, but the man who does the will of God will live forever" God Bless you guys!

Richard Twigg said what all of us are feeling. Willis Paul was the glue that kept all of us, the cousins, together. He made sure we all knew what was taking place with family members and that we all had the opportunity of coming together once a year for the Byrd Reunion. We are surely missing you already. We love you Willis Paul and thank you for everything.

Mrs. Byrd. 55 years with Willis!!! That is so special. Remember the good times and hold close the scriptures at John 5:28 and Revelation 21:verses 3 and 4 to heart. For there it promises that we will see our special friends like Willis again some day. So Please hold on to that thought as we await the fulfillment of God's promises set forth in the scriptures.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Remembering all the ways Willis Paul had to make everyone he knew feel special. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but we know he is in a better place with his Lord and all those who have gone before him. We love you all.

I will miss you my friend until we meet again on the streets of gold. Uncle Willie (Clermont, Florida)

Vickie,
No one understands how hard it is to say goodbye to your Dad until you're faced with it. You know he is in a better place and your faith will give you the strength that you need in the upcoming days. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you! Joan Stutts
