Willis Clarke

Willis lived and was loved by me, his aunt, for ten thousand four hundred and ninety-six days. In that time I never knew him to harm any living creature or to act selfishly or to even raise his voice to me. His cheerfulness and generosity was acknowledged by all who had the privilege to call him friend. My dear nephew's life was not long nor was it easy but it, and he, was unforgettable.

I had the pleasure of training Willis at GEICO. He always had a smile and warm greeting. I enjoyed keeping up with Willis over time. More than once I was able to enjoy his photography. Although our conversations were brief, they were always enriching and I will miss him.

Willis was like my brother. I'll never forget the joy he brought to my life, or the way the room lit up when he walked into it.

Willis was in my 8th grade Math class at Indian River Middle, it seems like yesterday. He was HILARIOUS! He and I always joked around and had so much fun talking. He was a sweetheart and I am so very sad to hear about this. What a loss!

To Willis's family and partner, my sincerest and deepest condolences. He was a beautiful person, inside and out. He was the first friend I made when I moved to VA, so kind and loving. He cast a light that will shine on long after we ourselves are gone.

I can't believe it! What a great & fun guy. I am so sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed!
