You are a piece of Hudson that can't be replaced. The history and stories you and only you knew were precious. Thank God you wrote some of it down for the rest of us to remember. May you be in Heaven visiting all the people you knew so much about her on Earth.

My parents' first home in Hudson was on sixth street in the 1940s. The first time they met Willis was on a day he was out riding his bike and stopped and asked to use the toilet!
My mother and Willis would go on to have a warm personal and professional relationship for the rest of their lives. Willis informed his employer, the Hudson Star-Observer, he was going to Europe in 1949. the publisher, C.J. Reiter, said he couldn't go. Willis said he was going anyway. Clarence instructed him...

Willis was indeed an icon in Hudson - he always met you with a friendly smile and always remembered your name, and either asked about your family or told you some information about them. Hudson will not be the same without Willis Miller, he will be sadly missed.
