Not sure what to say?

Condolences to Dr. Patterson´s family. Two children that I know started participating in the Our Own Thing Music Instruction, last month. I am thankful for his vision.

To Kevin and the family, our families prayers are with you.

I was a young country bumpkin when I met "Dean Patterson" during my auditions for the Winds Dept at UofM. I was accepted and the Music School there was like no other, rich with diversity. On more than one occasion Dean Patterson sat me, the fire plug down and offered me guidance that remains with me to this day. He will be greatly missed.

Dr Patterson was a family friend of Richard And Rosemarion Blake. Mr Blake (my father) sang with the Our Own Thing Chorale. I started my singing in the Our Own Thing program. Then became a student at Uof M music school, under Professor Patterson. Where he taught me how to sing. I´m forever grateful, for all the lives he touched.

Bernard and Family What a beautiful tribute to a life well lived. May the love of family and friends carry you through your loss. Prayers.

He called me and convinced me to drop out of MYI and attend the University Division at Interlochen for 8 weeks before starting my freshman year at University of Michigan. He was my...

I had the privilege of caring for Dr. Patterson. We have lost a great Ann Arborite- kind and caring to all of us. His musical productions were amazing. Just listening to his speaking voice was a pleasure. I loved seeing him walking on the streets and sharing a moment. He was so loved.
