The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

Kay and Marsha,
I'm sorry to hear about your father. I know it can be a difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of your father. I know that neither of you girls know me personally, but I worked with your father for many years at the plasma center and at the Shreveport MEPS. He was a very kind and gentle soul with a heart full of love for his family. He used to tell me stories all the time about you girls and the vacations and trips that you all took together. Please know that he was loved by very many and you both will be in my prayers.

Marsha and Kay, so sorry to hear about your Dad. My prayers are with you.

My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family. I know you do not know who I am but I live in the apartment complex where your father lived in Shreveport. I helped Ms. Amber with him a few weeks ago. He was a very sweet man.

Marsha and Kay, my sympathies to both of you and your families. Sincerely, Paula and David Johns
