Youth Island early 60's

Facebook leads me many places. I am sad it leads me here, yet I am greatful for your Mom's life.

Two memories of your mother come to mind immediately.
Your mother introduced me to Strawberry Sodas with vanilla ice cream at Howard Johnsons. She came there with our group after SHS basketball games.
Your Mom also taught me her recipe for Baked Beans!
Our world lost a Great Soul when your Mom died.

We knew dear Willow from Incarnation. Prayers for you, her family, for good remembrances, and comfort.

I just returned from out East to receive word that Willow had died. I wish I had gotten back in time to attend her funeral. This past Sunday she and all of you were in our prayers. We will always remember and give thanks for Willow's graciousness, hospitality (incredible food!), humor, kindness, commitment to caring for others and love for the Academy Awards! When she left Ann Arbor and The Church of the Incarnation it left a hole in our life that could never be filled. She was so proud...

Willow, April, & Kim, I'm so sorry for your loss girls. Your mom had to be the most wonderful woman in the world to produce you 3...deepest sympathies...i wish i could be there with you and for you in this saddest of times...but know that I'm always thinking of you...love each other always she would want that more than anything...
Love, John Stedman, Lee Ann, Nicholas & Zachary...Stedman

In Divine Order, Love and Light, we give thanks for Willow's life and the joy she brought to all who knew her. We ask that her family be comforted at this time and that we may all remember the lessons she taught us throughout her life. Her name will be remembered in our prayers at the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation.

To the family- My deepest condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Herb and myself had a lot of experiences and fun with Willow when she lived in Ann Arbor, including some out and out adventures. She will always be remembered at ECI. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Blessings and peace, Michael Beasley
