Wilma passed away on Thursday, November 5, 2015. She was born to Thomas and Jessie Livingston on October 31, 1922. She was married to George A. Brownbridge, who preceded her in death.
Wilma was a very caring, loving, Godly mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was so friendly to everyone she met. She and George traveled a lot together during their marriage.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, William; and sister, Marabell Anthony.
Wilma is lovingly remembered by her children, Susan (Harold) Buchmeier and Cindy Brownbridge; her granddaughter, Christy (Josh) Chrstiansen; and great-grandchildren, Ethan and Kaylee Christiansen.
Visitation will be 6-7:30 p.m., Monday, November 9 at Merle Hay Funeral Home. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Taylor House Hospice, Union Park Baptist Church, or WeeCare.
So sorry to hear about Wilma,s passing. can remember her being a school crossing gauard at merle hay & douglas for many years, plus a very good friend to our family on 59th street. I know she is talking to everyone now in heaven.....

Wilma was a cherished friend of my late grandmother, Betty Dawson, and, as Mom pointed out, they're probably getting together for coffee right now. Our entire family is sorry for your loss.

So sad to learn of her passing. Wilma was a great Aunt and a wonderful person. Always kind, loving and giving. Thankfully I have all the memories of family gatherings throughout my life.
