Not sure what to say?

This past Sunday, I drove by The Georgian House and rang the doorbell. I feared that there was no physical Willie to answer my ring. We exchanged Christmas cards and there was not one from her this year.
Part of me so feared this happening to her as we shared so much in the past 15 years; included the breast CA.
We were innkeepers together, sharing the journey of divorce and then re-marriage together and keeping our B & B's going with hard, hard work but lots of love for our...

My wife, Sharon, and I only stayed at Willie's 'Georgian House B&B' one time - in May 1999.

I still remember Willie's gracious spirit as a host, her delicious breakfasts, and her advice as we explored a city which we were, at the time, 'interested in'... and have now lived in for well over 10 years.

How sad it is to read so late that Willie has passed on, but it's with fond memories of our 3 nights' stay at her home that we'll keep her spirit alive.

Brian & Sharon...

Our daughter moved to Portland from London, England, and we have stayed with Willie at Georgian House several times over the past few years. She was a wonderful warm and generous person and her fabulous breakfasts served with wisdom and wit and large helpings of laughter. We will always treasure our memories of times with her.

I have been a guest often over the past two years and looked forward to my talks with Willie. I so appreciated her wisdom and candor, her courage, her kindness, and the many ways she created and nurtured community. And I love the delightful home she created for us visitors.
My thoughts are with Dick, Tim and Rena and the much-anticipated granddaughter.

I met her in February of 2012 during chemo. I always looked forward to her presence during my treatment. The connection we made was once in a life time. She was and is one of the most wonderful people I've ever met and I only wish I had met her earlier in my life. It made me sad to hear she had passed away and I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

I was a "regular" at the Georgian House, staying with Willie probably a dozen times over the past 15 years. All of her guests, I know, have considered her their friend - she was that personable and welcoming with each & every guest. My last stay was 9 days before she died. She was so valiant & cheerful, even in her pain. How sad that she did not live until the summer when her 1st grandbaby is to arrive. Our thoughts & prayers go out to Dick, Tim & Reenie.

Willie was one of the nicest people you could ever meet. She always made time to chat whenever I walked by with one of my dogs. She loved all the dogs and kitties that came to visit. She was a true treasure. A great person and loving animal mom, Willie is loved, and will be missed. We lost a really good egg, with her passing. Safe journey Willie, we love you.

I only met her one time but I was impressed with her charm. Mary Murphy
