Wilma M. Poe

Wilma was a lovely, classy lady. She was our neighbor for many years here in Ventura. I did some ceramics with her husband, Bob, and enjoyed him as well. I gave High Teas at Christmas time for a number of years for the ladies in the neighborhood and Wilma was delightful to be with us. She seemed to really enjoy them. One year she gave me an "corner angel" for the top of my doorway into my dining room. It is still there and looks over us all as we dine.

Mrs. Poe was a beautiful, kind and understanding person and teacher. She were my typing, shorthand, business English and homeroom teacher and always started homeroom by asking us "what did you do last night". She was truly interested in us and always remembered who was dating who. :-) You will be missed.

Mrs. Poe, thank you for all of the wonderful memories and support you provided me during my adolescent years. I will miss you and I am grateful for the opportunity to have known you for 23 years.

Mrs. Poe you were always so polite and kind to me. It was a pleasure being your letter carrier and I will miss you. May your family and friends find peace at this sad time.
