Wilma Devoe Vawdrey

I've just returned from the funeral. It was great and trust Aunt Toot to plan it the way she did. She was one of a kind.
A couple of favorite memories of mine are first when very young it was Aunt Toot who taught me how to skip. And....yes indeed---she was a great skipper in her day. Hahaha!!! Since she wasn't able to raise her own little girls, she enjoyed the nieces until she got some grandaughters. And I remember when she got a contact for one eye only and drove to our house for help...

Please know that Aunt "Toot" holds a very special place in my heart. She was always a favorite. She had such a big heart, and room in it for everyone. One always knew they were cared about when she was around. My memories go back to sitting under the trees with her and learning to embroider at the house on the frontage road.
