Carolyn & I are very sorry to learn of Bill's passing. We knew him as a colleague at the University, a neighbor and as a friend. We and our families enjoyed many good times throughout the years. Our condolences go out to Barbara, Terry, Billy and Beth.

Chip was a fixture on Lobsterville Beach for close to half a century and a great fishing buddy of mine there for the last 30 years. He was a wonderful man - kind and wise in so many ways. Chip is irreplaceable - there will be a hole in the Martha's Vineyard fishing community forever in his absence.
