I met Carter, in the 70's, when I worked for Volkswagen of America, Inc., and he worked next door, at Lipton Corporation, in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. He, Bill Brown(Executive Director of The Bergen County Urban League), and I collaborated on many Projects to enhance the "Quality of Life", of many Afro-Americans, in Bergen County New Jersey.
