To the family of Wilson Davis, I have been a friend of Wilson's for over 80 years as we grew up together in Mathews. My mother, Miss Bessie, was one of Wilson's teachers. Over the years, Wilson would stop by my house in Yorktown to visit before I moved to Suffolk. My wife and I always enjoyed his visits. He was a good friend and a hard worker.
