Not sure what to say?

To the Everhart Family:
My wife and I came to know Bonk through his marriage to our next door neighbor, Fran Hassinger. I enjoyed his witty conversations, many about his war time experiences in Europe and fishing escapades up north. Whenever we had a gentle rain, Bonk could be seen walking our little used street, wearing only his rain gear but no umbrella. He was a delightful neighbor and our association to him enriched our lives.

Dr. Everhart delivered me in 1947! My mother, Martha Deeter Crawford, always spoke so highly of him. And I fondly recall his wife, Franny, also a friend of my mother's. Recall house-sitting for her, taking care of her pets. Not sure if her children, Andy & Lucy, would remember me. That goes way, way back. If yes, my best to both of you.

Dr. Everhart delivered two of our daughters. Our youngest, he delivered in a tux coming from a Christmas party. We were so fortunate to have him as our doctor. His concern was always for his patient in the most kind and gentle way.

Shelva Hendricks

As a former patient and a nurse who worked with him at Harrisgurg Hospital, I remember Dr. Everhart as a kind and skilled physician, and a complete gentleman.

I was so sorry sorry to hear of Dr. Everhart's passing. My prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Margaret -
No matter how long we have our parents with us in this life, it's a terrible loss when they're gone. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
