Not sure what to say?

I have so many wonderful memories of Mr Wright The countless times my children saw him running They always had something to say about Mr Wright They looked forward to watching him run Im sure he is running up in heaven now!!! Our condolences to the family

Will was a great person. He encouraged me in my running journey and was always helping others though volunteering in a variety of roles. Although I haven't been active running lately, he had a memorable personality that I will not forget.

Will is going to be missed. We trained and ran marathons together in the mid-1900s and in the early 2000s. At the time Don Withers was a friend of Will and the three of us ran marathons together in the early 2000s. They introduced me to the 50 states and marathon maniac clubs. They were special and is why I devoted a chapter in my book to them. Attached is the photo that I used for that chapter

Will was always an inspiration to me. Not only as a runner (I've been running 46 years) but as a Christian and just a great human being. I loved his running column in the Port City Pacer Newsletter and his words of wisdom. He will be missed.

Mrs. Wright, Wilton, and Anna, Peace be with you all during this time and always. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Will was a wonderful ambassador for the running community and Christian life. He had endless energy in whatever he attempted and would always take time to talk and listen. When I was involved in the Port City Pacers and Azalea Trail Run he was an asset to the success of both groups! I live in NYC now and won't be able to attend his service. The world is better place because Will was in it. I cherish the memories I have of Will (aka The Running Machine). May his family feel God's love in their...

Such a wonderful and a real gentleman. We remember seeing him running all over Mobile and of course church. Blessings and prayers for all the family. Will was a joy to know.

Will and I were on a few mission trips to Tanzania together. He was just a blessing g to be around. A godly man full of years and full of wisdom. Heaven just got sweeter.

Mr, Wright was more than an avid runner, he was in a class all by himself, running so many races and over 100 marathons. Almost everyday I would see him running on Springhill Avenue. I will miss Mr. Wright , each year in August he would meet with me at TV 5 to talk about the Crime Prevention 5K run, and on race day, he would show up with that BIG SMILE. Rest in peace my friend.
