Not sure what to say?

Winfred "Wimpy" Alexander, Imagine my shock and dismay while trying to locate you online. I came across your obituary, We became good friends the day I met you in 1979 as a brand new 2lt in the 3rd Battalion. We hung out a lot, and our friendship became strong. You even talked me into going to the advanced course early so we could attend at the same time. I often think about our fishing trip in Langrange, GA where we caught almost 200 crappie. I remember when you took me home to...

My condolences to Winfred Alexander´s family and friends. Alexander was the lieutenant in charge of the platoon I was in during the early 80´s at Ft Campbell. He was an excellent leader and upstanding man, who I was fortunate to serve with. God bless & remember him.

You are missed EVERY single day. Family Reunion-Daytona Beach, FL

A wonderful human being with who I had many conversations at UF and especially over meals at Yon Hall. He was and always will be a champion.
