Not sure what to say?

Lynn: Don't know if you will remember me but Alice Adams and I were friends and you and I are distant cousins (Diane E. McCormick). Anyway, I knew Winnie because my grandmother, Elizabeth Freeman, and he worked together at Acme and he was married to my cousin, Becky Rodgers.

I was shocked to learn of his passing as I just found out the end of last week. My thoughts are with you and Cathy.

I just heard yesterday that Winnie had passed away. We worked together while at Acme Visible. He was such a nice guy. I believe I'd run into him somewhere in Waynesboro since we left Acme, but haven't had much word about him since. We were all like family at Acme, so I was very upset at his passing. My best to his family.

I knew Winfred from elementary school on...we both went to school in Danville after WHS. Glad our paths crossed again at our 45th reunion (Class of 1961)in 2006. Winfred was a kind, gentle soul. Sorry for your loss.

We will miss our bowling buddy on Monday night

Lynn, this certainly was a shock. We just saw you and Buddy at KFC last weekend or week before. We are sad for your loss.

We will miss seeing Winnie with the dogs walking up the lane and stopping to talk. We will miss his smile, waves, and conversations. He was such a great man and neighbor. Our prayers are with you Lynn and Cathy.

Winnie was a special friend to me. We ate lunch together at Pecks for many years. He loved Lynn and Cathy so much. I loved him because he was always so glad to see me whenever we met. Such a special guy who I will miss a lot. Deepest sympathy to Lynn and Cathy. It will be very hard living without him.

Lynn, I am so sorry about your loss. I can't begin to imagine how you feel. I wish I could be with you. Love, Mike and Sharon
