Winifred Wiersma De Jonge

Hello. I knew ms win for the past few months and was very saddened to hear of her passing. She held a special place in my heart and I will never forget her. She was an amazing woman and loved her family so much. She talked about them constantly. My prayers are with you.

I will surely miss Win and our time together. Win was a very special person to our family. She helped us when we first settled in Michigan in 1975. Win took me to all the doctor appointments and then drove me back to her house for a snack. It was often a homemade cookie, fresh from the oven. I will cherish those memories as I have never met any of my grandparents. At times, I think God put her in my life to fill that gap. We kept in touch through the years. you are in my thoughts and prayers. While we take great comfort in knowing mom is with Him in heaven it is mom and losing her leaves a hole in our lives.May you experience His peace.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

Win and I shared some great adventures, including a trip to Pennsylvania. I always had a lot of admiration for her- she was a wonderful gracious woman. I am unable to attend her memorial service, so I am extending my sincere sympathy to all of you this way. May God give you comfort.
