Winnie was a joy to know, a favorite cousin, a constant source of joy and encouragement, a source of comfort, and a 'got your back' encouragement!!! I loved her so much! Every weekday morning, during our senior year in high school, Winnie would arrive at my house on Terrace Avenue (along with several others) to get a ride to school in my 1935 Chevrolet. Wonderful memories and I always enjoyed her company and wonderful personality. My sympathy is extended to the Mehring family.
