Winifred Mary Ringlaben

Miss Johnson(Mrs. Ringlaben) was my second grade teacher at the Poplar Street School in Hazleton, PA. She was one of the best teachers I ever had, and I have never forgotten her. I can still picture the way she looked then (1941). She became Mrs. Ringlaben during our second grade year, and we were all quite excited by that.I remember building a teepee in the classroom! Winifred Johnson Ringlaben was my second grade teacher at Poplar St. School in Hazleton, PA. At that time she was still Miss Johnson, and everyone in our class loved her dearly. We were so fortunate to have her at Poplar St. and I'm sure none of the children ever forgot her. Every child should have a teacher like Miss Johnson in their school experience. My deepest sympathy to her family. She was a very caring, lovely lady.
