Not sure what to say?

Mom,it's a year ago today that we lost you. No,that's not really accurate, you are not lost to me.The wealth of memories of you and our life together will always sustain me thru the most trying times. We are all immortal as long as memories last.

It's officially 2008 now,Mom.It seems so sad to think that your final year among us has passed. But mere calendars will never be enough to erase your life or the love we will always have for you.

The Key
written by Winifred E. Trimmer

Do you believe in fairy tales - the forever after kind? And the pot of gold at the rainbow's end? And, why not?
You're born; that, in itself, is a miracle.
You learn to walk, to talk. Life begins.

Years go by - some quickly, others much slower.
It's "your" Diary. You have the Key, remember?

One day at a time.
Each day, promise renewed; a page to be filled. Never mind the blank spaces; you'll do better...

Left our home for the last time on Friday. After 41 years,I'm back in Carolina once again. It feels more than a little strange,Mom.Hope that Punkin&Annie are keeping you company.I keep picturing you climbing some huge tree beneath the brightest sun.

Mom-I tended your garden again this morning. The wave petunias in particular are a beautiful shade of purple. The birds were out in force, guess they beat the squirrels to the feeder today.Miss you so much, but I guess God needed another gardener. Roger

To all Winigreds children, so sorry I could not be with you in Gettysburg, having only been in touch a short time years ago I remember her smile.A great lady

Mrs. T, I always enjoyed our times together at Concordia's Ladies Aid group and the sidewalk sales each summer. You were always younger than your years and I'll miss you.

Winifred, You will be missed by all of your Avon friends, especially me. Your happy disposition always made me feel good.

Granny,

I love you and will miss you dearly. The one thing that is getting me through this difficult time is all the wonderful memories I have and the last visit I had with you. I will always remember you holding my hand. I can still feel you. You are forever in my heart!
