Winifred van Roden

Last night (Saturday, June 4) we were out to dinner with Chris Pendry and Larry Aber, and Chris mentioned Winifred. I had forgotten that Frances and Emma Pendry-Aber had gone to school together. In any case, Chris and I talked about how much we both miss Winifred and what an incredibly lovely person she was and how devastating it is that she is not still with us. Winifred was a delight. She put me in a better mood every time I saw her. Thats a pretty remarkable person. She was a talented and generous design partner with a wonderfully discerning eye and she was always great conversation. High praise in my book. I miss her already.
