Not sure what to say?

I know this is very late, but Dr. Wimberly was my sons' pediatrician from 1985-1990. She was the best! We moved to Wisconsin in 1990, otherwise I would not have left her.

My sincerest (late) condolences. Dr. Wimberly will forever hold a very special place in my heart, as she was my pediatrician in the late 80's and early 90's. I have never encountered a kinder or more genuine Doctor.
I thought about Dr. Wimberly this evening and discovered she had passed. Please know she is still on people's minds and will forever be in all our hearts.

I know it is late, but I wanted to express my condolences and share my experiences.

In March 1979, at 6 months of age, I nearly succumbed to an infection caused by Neisseria Meningiditis. Instead of going into my meningeal layers and causing meningitis, it caused an infection in my blood stream. I had meningococcal septicemia. None of the Dr.'s could quite figure out what was wrong with me. Some thought it was viral encephalitis; others thought it was the pathogen that...

Dr Wimberly was 2 of my 3 children's Pediatrician! Unfortunately she retired before I had my third child! I missed her so much at that point! She was the best Dr & a beautiful person! She is very dearly missed!!!!

She was by my side when our son Drew was born with Down's Syndrome in 1976, and for many years afterward. We loved her dearly.

My condolences to the family for their loss. May peace be granted to the family by the God of all comfort. Ephesians 1:2.

My condolences go to the family and friends. Losing a loved one can be hard, but our special memories of them help us to cope. May the God of all Comfort, bring you peace during this difficult time. He promises a wonderful hope to see our loved ones again!

I was Winette's flight instructor in the 80's. Our mutual love of flying grew into a very close and personal relationship. She was my doctor until the tender age of 31, at which point she said I needed to get someone "more appropriate" for my age. She was my son's pediatrician until she retired. The world has lost a wonderful human being.

Best pediatrian EVER who caringly treated all 5 of my children with her unfailing and characteristic wit, charm and intelligence. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Winnette Wimberly -- what a great lady with an ever-present twinkle in her eye! May God bless and comfort her family.
