Winnie Medine Obituary

Medine, Winnie Marie Clause A homemaker and a resident of Donaldsonville, she died at 8:18 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2006, in Donaldsonville. She was 74 and a native of Labadieville. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, on Monday, April 17, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Religious service at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, Donaldsonville, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Phil Spano. Interment in the church cemetery. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Howard Kreamer Sr., Donaldsonville; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Veronica Medine, Donaldsonville; sister, Rosemary Millien, Labadieville; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Joseph Medine; parents, Charley and Lucie Bonvillian Clause; granddaughter, Danielle Marie Kreamer; sister, Gladys Millien; and brother, Haley Clause. She was a member of the Babin-Haynes American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 98 for 15 years and a Lady Poppy Queen.
