I did not know Lt. Tyler personally, but I thank her for her military service and teaching at OHSU. She looks real sharp in her uniform. This is what caught my eye in the print edition.
I am a disabled Vet from the US Army's "Old Guard" at Arlington, VA who has laid to rest many Vets in the National Cemetery.
I wish all her family and friends good wishes. Winnie was quite a woman!

Winnie was a wonderful, helpful friend. She was the kind of person that buoyed you up and seemed to make things better. She was my mom's best friend and her sense of fun and humor were legendary. She and Ham are missed.
