Not sure what to say?

I've finally found you Dr. Gray....to thank you, too late, for your generosity, levity and guidance into the field of dance performance. I've attached a photo from the work he created for The Assortment Dance Theater (ca. 1978) in which he performed. Rest in Peace Grant.

What an incredibly fun man. I was in Actor's Ensemble and the dance group with Wan Dang at De Anza back in 1987. Grant took us out for drinks quite often and we always had a ball and felt like a family together. I was too young to really appreciate what a fun scene it was and the friends I had made in that group. I would love to reconnect with that group again. God bless you Mr. Gray

Winston (Magnolia) you are missed. Love you always, Liz (Magnolia) Smith.

I regret very much the death of Winston Gray. He and I were in school together at Delta State. My condolences to the family.

Delta State University

Delta State University (Cleveland, Mississippi) just learned of his passing. We offer our condolences from the National Alumni Association.

Paula and Stephen I am very sorry for your loss. I loved your Daddy very much and he was very good to me I know that my Mother meant the world to him. I was so honored to see that one of your children had Mama's name. I would appreciate if one of you could get in touch with me. There are some items in your Father's house that would probably mean something to her namesake. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you and your families. I can be reached through Butch.

At PHHS in the early 60's he taught a generation of goofy (me at least) suburban kids, longing for imagination/inspiration/exhilaration excitement...a remarkable lesson; that art is a vehicle for all of those aspirations, and that making art requires extraordinary commitment, honesty and discipline. I haven't forgotten.
Thank you Mr Gray.

Glad we had the opportunity to know you! Pam Mollie and John

No one is mentioned more often in my life as an influence & mentor... he lit a fire in so many of his students. I left my own high school each day to take classes from him at PHHS, 62-64. How the arts flourished there under Winston Grant Gray & Bob Soder. How dear he has been in my memory. I just attended the 50th w/friends... & what did we talk about? Our many friends who have had sterling careers thru Winston's creative encouragement & drive. I'll never forget the twins charging...
