Not sure what to say?

I liked his writing style , we had a lot in common as far as the Military goes

I would like to express my condolences to the family. God is aware of the pain you are going through (Psalm 31:7). May he give you the strength that you need to get through this difficult time.

Please accept my sincere condolences to the Groom Family. May family, friends and extended family cherish his memories.

God is a God of all Comfort and he will Comfort the family's..My heartfelt condolences..

Blessings and peace to the Groom family. I will remember Winston Groom as a fun, storytelling, big smiling, eyes twinkling, taller than an oak, Southern gentleman. He was always accommodating and always smiling. He could weave a basket full of tales and was beyond brilliant. I'm sure he's bending God's ear, and well "that's all I got to say about that."

Beautifully written book and move. My sincere condolences to the Groom family. May the God of all comfort provide you all the strength to cope with your loss

Martha and I are very sorry for your loss, and we are loosing too many, too fast. I certainly wish I could have met Winston, having enjoyed many of his writings.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Groom. His Mother, Mrs. Ruth K. Groom taught English and Creative Writing classes at Murphy High School and it was fortunate to be in her class in 1966. Mr. Groom shared her wonderful smile and sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

Your book will be remembered for inspiring the movie.
