Not sure what to say?

Ellen,
Thoughts & prayers are with you dear friend. You are loved and Bud will be remembered always. I'll remember him as a strapping gent in a tux with a cocktail. Needless to say, many memories of laughter and love.
Love you...

Dear Ellen,
It was with great sadness that I learned of Bud's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of the two of you. I remember lot's of wonderful times in your apartment in new York, in your place in Santa Monica and of course your wonderful house in New Orleans. The joy that the two of you shared was seen by all. I send much love and hugs to you dear friend.
Take care,
Maxine

Dear Ellen,
I'm talking with Maxine right now, she just heard about Bud's passing. We are reminiscing about all the wonderful memories of you and Bud. We love you, and found such joy in the happiness that you and Bud brought to each other. lovingly, Gale

What a special person! Our condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,

Bud was so young at heart. He wasn't like anyone else I've known from his generation. Always sweet and fun and never uptight. I liked his big, deep voice with the distant Minnesota accent. Of course, he would throw some right-wing nonsense in there too from time to time. He said he wanted the country to be run like a...

ellie, it is hard to believe we will be in new orleans and bud won't be there with us physically. i know he will always be there in spirit. it will be very strange not to see him in his chair in the living room with the dog or cat on his lap. bud tried very hard to get me and bobby not to eat sugar (to no avail) and to convert me to the republican side (that didn't work either) but it was always fun to hear him try and we had many laughs that i will miss with all my heart. i know how lonely...

Ellen, Our hearts and prayers go out to you and your loving family. Your husband was a very fortunate and special person to have you by his side. With much love, Cynthia and Ames

Ellen, I am so sorry for your loss of Bud. I didn't know until now. I didn't know Bud well, but he struck me as a very kind and a very gracious man. If there is anything I can do, please let me know.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. We as a family will always remember the great times we had at the Fair Grounds betting on the horses and just enjoying being together. We will miss Bud vey much. Jim and Jaynell
