Winston Williamson was born December 28, 1952, at St. Mary’s Medical Hospital in Gary, Indiana to Device and Auguster Williamson. He had one brother (Marvis Williamson) and two sisters (Marene and Denese Williamson).


He attended Alan Alain Locke Elementary school, Tolleston Junior High school, and graduated from West Side High school in Gary, Indiana June 1971.


Winston married Bernice Tyner on September 17, 1977, and to this union two children were added: Winston Jr. and Whitney Williamson. He also had two grandchildren: Winston III, and Kendall Williamson and one greatgrandchild.


A loving and devoted husband and father for 43 years. Winston was an employee of Inland Steel for 39 years retired in 2010.
