Not sure what to say?

I remember Wint, when he came with the Kansas City Jayhawks R.F.C. to Scotland in 1979. Due to bad weather we were the only team to play them - in 4inches of snow- yes you are all right, he was a remarkable gentleman. God Bless you.

I remember Wint as a star athelete and a "go getter." Immediately after our graduation from LMHS I joined the U.S. Navy from which I retired 25 years later and had not lived in Kansas again. Therefore, I had no inkling of Wint's extremely successful undertakings. I am proud of him and of knowing him in our HS days. Rest in peace Wint as you are most deserving. We all miss you and remember you with warmth and reverance.

Wint, may you rest in peace. It was an honor to know you and I always enjoyed your company. You will be missed.
My thaughts and prayers are with your family.

Better late than never Wint, but you know, I was always "awful proud of you". You were a pleasure and honor to have had the astute privilege to have known. I will truly miss you.

Our condolences to the Winter Family! What a fascinating man who has no doubt passed down these wonderful traits to his children and grandchildren! In knowing Wint Jr., I can see where he is a true testament to his father. God Bless! Bev and Clyde Corkill

A truly great man who loved life. I have many fond memories of traveling the world with Wint; he always had your back. Our prayers are with you.

Wint was great man and I have many fond memories of him on and off the pitch. I still tell stories of him to this date and will keep doing so.

Nancy and the rest of the Winter and Anderson families. I have fond memories of Wint when living in Lawrence and later outside of Ottawa in Rantoul. My thoughts are prayers are with all of you at this time. Wint can now soar with the eagles, he has climbed that Highest Mountain and is at peace with the Lord!! Sharon Thurber (Warren)

Wint and family...thinking of you and praying that you will find peace and comfort at this time of loss. He touched many lives and will always be remembered. Faith teaches us that love never dies, and family is forever. God bless you all, Kim Murphree
