I've known Wisdom from freshman days at Howard to his days as a dentist. Wisdom has always been a joy to know. He has gone too soon. God knows best. Wisdom was responsible for me obtaining my dental license and I will never forget his and his family's kindness. I will look for Wisdom when I transition.

Dr. Wisdom Coleman was my friend and mentor. Because of him, I joined the faculty at UTHSC 14 years ago. Through his support, guidance, advice, and encouragement I grew.
Wisdom served as a role model for me in many ways... He raised incredible sons; adored and took care of his mother and aunt; nurtured and challenged his students; respected by his colleagues; fought for justice; and believed in responsibility. His daily example challenged me to be my best; find something to laugh about...
