Not sure what to say?

My uncle Joe and our family have fond memories of the Original Pancake House. Thanks Max for some of the best times and food ever... Charles LeMaire

As a kid growing up in Appleton, Wi. I saw Max quite often. One event comes to mind when I was in a crowd of people. I was young and kept getting bumped by everyone. I looked up at the crowd and couldn't see my dad or twin brother. I started to whimper as the crowd kept pushing me. So I tried to fight back pushing and hitting people to let them know I was there. As I looked up I saw Max and as I worked my way to him I tugged on his pant leg. He said to me what's wrong? I cant seem to find my...

To the entire McGee Family:
I am very sorry for your sudden loss. I used to work for TimeManagement in Eden Prairie. I will never forget Max's giving & compassionate spirit. In 1997 a friend of mine was a victim of the Grand Forks Flood & was displaced from her home. I went to Max & told him about her being diabetic & that she had no home anymore. Without a thought he took his checkbook out & wrote her a sizable check for diabetic supplies. I will NEVER forget that act of kindness. ...

We enjoyed eating at his bar/grill in Arizona. Great place. Sounds like Max was a great person too. My deepest sympathy for his friends and family.

to Max Jr. and your family:
I pray that you will be comforted by the knowledge that you will someday be with dad again in God's great heaven that is planned for all who trust in the words of John 3:16.

To the McGee Family - especially Marla,
Don't know if you remember me or not but we worked together in Rochester at the old Donaldson's Department Store for a few years. We had some very fun times and some of those times were business trips to Mpls where we always had to stop at Chi Chi's! I remember how fondly you always talked about your Dad and to this day I always let people know who it was who founded the 'real' Chi Chi's. Football and restaurants aside, I knew your Dad through...

Our sympathies to the Max McGee Family.
We do not grieve as those who have no hope. We look forward to a far better day that will include an eternal reunion with Max and all who share in Christ's victory over sin, death and the grave.
We enjoyed every game and attendance with Max at the Lombardi in Milwaukee.
