To the Doug Merrill Family,
My sympathies and best wishes are with you at this time. I have fond memories of Bishop Merrill. He was my scoutmaster. He sent me on my mission. He was always a genuine caring friend. What a great man!

Dear Merrill Family,
Some childhood memories linger forever. I am grateful for mine with Bishop Merrill. No matter when we lose a loved one there is sorrow, as we know we will miss them for a time. I am sorry for your loss, but know how grateful you are for the knowledge that you will have a joyful reunion!
Warmest Regards,

You will be dearly missed. My parents always spoke highly of you when we were in your ward. I will remember your unselfish help with the props when we did our road shows, and helping me with math once when I just "didn't get it". My sympathy and prayer go out to your family at this time.

Bishop Merrill had a smile always, he was a great friend to our family. He was there when our family was living on the avenues and long after we left. We all loved him and always considered him our friend and Bishop.
I took piano lessons from Regina and loved to hear them sing together. What a talented man and family. My prayers are with all of you.
