I was sad to learn Of the recent death of Wolf, who was a dear friend and amazing artist. Many years ago, his daughter Cecily was a student of mine. As the owner of several works of art by Wolf, I will cherish the memories!

I am saddened to learn of the deaths of Wolf Kahn and his wife Emily Mason. I have been a fan of both of their work for years. I especially enjoy Wolf's pastels. Very free and dramatic. My sympathy and thoughts for their entire family.

Condolences to the daughters of Wolf Kahn and Emily Mason. I studied with Wolf at Cooper Union in the early 1970s. He changed my whole worldview of art. Emily would act as substitute teacher when Wolf could not teach at Cooper. In later years I tried to see every gallery show of his in NYC and I own three of his works. A few times I even ran into him on the street! He was a great presence from another time. He and Emily will be missed.
