Read MoreWhen I arrived at Caring House as the new Director, Dr. Joklik and Pat were the first two people to come and greet me. Dr. Joklik remained a mentor to me for many years after that initial meeting.

I remember Bill as a great and very good man and mentor. A superb scientist with the highest integrity, and a gentleman of first class. He taught me a lifetime of professional lessons in 5 short years as a postdoc with him. An amazing life. Rest in peace, Dr. Joklik, and my sincerest condolences to Pat and his family.
