Not sure what to say?

Wolfie!

You are missed! Think of you often!

To all of Wolfie's family and friends (many of you are my friends), I'm in shock as I'm sure many others are. Wolfie had been my friend all the way back to 7th. grade. We had a lot of fun times growing up! He was always Mister Cool in his own special way and an honest, fun and special friend. I am thankful that I was able to see and talk with him at our reunion this past summer as I hadn't seen him for about 30 years. Even so, memories from such a good old friend are never lost and can be...

Since I heard in the evening of the day before yesterday of Wolfie's unexpected death, I am deeply distressed, because I lost a true, close friend, who was helpful and reliable at any time. Nearly 30 years, we had regular long-distance phone conversations, in which we could talk for hours about anything we had experienced during the last time, for example the books we had just read and our common empathy for every kind of animal.

Mr. Poltash, Roland, and family,

Wolfie, Larry, and I were the best of friends growing up in Hawthorne. Many times my memory has handed me back the joy we experienced in those carefree days. Wolfie and I used to get a lunch pass at Ramona Elementary and eat lunch at Rocco's with his mother, a special lady. I pray that God gives you strength and grace during this difficult time.

God Bless you Wolfgang,
You were a great colleague and wonderful friend. You will never be forgotten. I am so glad I knew you. Rest in peace my friend!

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

I just heard the news. I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers. I am only a phone call away.

The news was a shock. Wolfie will be missed. He was a trip to be with. Will always remember our trip to Australia. My heart and prayers are with you. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you two.

I'm so saddened by the news of Wolfie's death and so regret not having kept in touch. He was truly a good person and my best friend. He will always be my best friend.
