Not sure what to say?

It took me 32 years to realize what you saw in me. Delayed gratification; oh time, sweet time, always our best friend. Legend, visionary, THANK YOU "Uncle Wolsey."

Wolsey, You are gone but you will never be forgotten. You left a legacy here at Howard University here in Washington, DC.

I miss talking to you and I miss all the wisdom that you would give me with relationships and business.. Rest in heavenly peace uncle...love

I worked at OSI from 1980 to 1982 and had the great privilege of getting to know Wolsey Semple. I can picture him behind his desk, calm, attentively listening and then after measured silence sharing his sage insight into whatever struggle or situation I confided in him. Ever kind and wise. His smile lit up the room. I cherish his memory and that he made time for the least member of the staff and made me feel valued and worthwhile. If any who are missing him want a listening ear, I´d like to...

Dear Jeremy and Eva, sending you both love, and warmth, a year on from your dad's passing. He's gone but is remembered with fondness. Hugs

Wolsey was always kind to me. I'll never forget him.

My mentor and friend. You will be missed so much. I thank God for all our precious moments, events, activities, and much needed advise. I know your in heaven doing it all over again. I loved you in life and will carry the memory of you with me forever.

Very sorry to learn of the passing of such a great man. He was very kind to me as a landlord turned friend. I enjoyed our conversations about African politics as well as world politics. I was happy he got to see my family grow from marriage to dog to child! He will be missed but his memory will live strong. Peace Kim, Massama and Dominic

Eva, my dear friend, my deepest condolences on the loss of your father. He was clearly a wonderful father and amazing man who has changed the lives of those he touched. I am sorry that I never had the pleasure of meeting him. All my love, Irene .
