Happy Birthday Woody! I know that there are family & friends, including some of The Middletown Press´s gang, celebrating amongst you! We´ll toast you at the next Press reunion!

I had the pleasurable experience of working for Woody and his brother at The Press for many years. He and Derry were always involved with publishing a most popular afternoon daily newspaper. We were like family, celebrating holidays and birthdays, as well, together. I will miss not seeing Woody at our reunions. My condolences to his lovely wife and family.

Woody was an incredible person and uncle. To the end, he was so positive and cheerful with such a sense of humor. And he was always there to help everyone who he loved---a guiding force who I will always miss.

We have lost a treasured dear friend with whom we shared so many wonderful fun filled experiences from Japan to Tuscany and points in between. He is irreplaceable and our memories together will last forever. Such a wonderful man!

Ah Woody - your sense of humor and stalwart opposition to political bullies is a guiding star. May your gentle sense of organization encourage heaven to run smoothly. You are missed.
