Dear Family of Wylie Thayer Smith,
We were saddened to learn of Wylie's death. We are The Compassionate Friends of Providence, a support group to help families---parents, grandparents and siblings --- with the death of a child. If you would like to get in touch with us, we can be reached at: [email protected].
My son Cameron was killed in an auto accident twelve years ago and this wonderful group has helped me immeasurably.

DEAR GRANT & FAMILY. WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS . MAY YOU BE COMFORTED THAT HAVING KNOWN AND LOVED HIM, IS FAR BETTER THAN NEVER HAVING KNOWN AND LOVED HIM ... JANET & GEORGE BOUTIN

Dear Dawn, Eric and Katiana,

I remember you all from Greenwood school. I remember Wylie as a beautiful little boy. I remember building the garden with you. I remember you roaming the streets of Greenwood all dressed up on Halloween night. I was so happy to hear that Danielle had reunited with Wylie when she worked at Dell's in South County down the street from where he worked. She was all smiles telling me how he came in and they realized that they were each other. I was lucky...

Dear Dawn, Eric, and Kat,

I'm so sorry for your loss. Like everybody, I really enjoyed being around Wylie, and I know he's a big hit up in heaven, just like he was here. I'll bet he's already made his first campfire, and is busy telling stories to the angels. Wylie packed a whole lot of living into the short time he had, and I'm so glad I had the chance to meet him. May all your happy memories of Wylie and the love of friends and family get you through this tough time.

Dear Dawn and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My heart cannot imagine the pain and sorrow you are feeling. I pray that through family and friends you find some comfort in the love that surrounds you and that they may help you through your journey to find peace.
Thinking of you...
