I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing a child is the worst loss. My heart goes out to all of you. I didn't know Xander personally but I work at GMIS and hold you all in my prayers

My heart breaks. I was Xander's 8th grade teacher and so loved getting to know him.... his impish smile and intelligence were often the highlight of my days. I am so sorry for his family and friends. He was a shining light that will be missed. Always

I got to meet Xander thru my grandson Jakob. He was a great kid,had a heart of gold. My heart goes out to his family.. he will be sadly missed.. we will always remember his smile.

Xander was my best friend. We would go out a lot and I would be his partner in crime. And get into trouble together but we had fun. Hearing his death shattered me. May he fly high.

I did not know Xander or anyone in his family. While losing a loved one is difficult, it even more so with such a young person. I pray that Xander's family finds comfort in the memories of Xander. And may this young man rest in eternal peace. ~~Andrea Gries
