Xavia was a first cousin to my mother (Jennie Lee Cobb Dickson). I remember my last visit to see Aunt Bessie - my mother went with us. Always loved visiting my Mississippi family, even though my mother and father lived in South Carolina.
Our sincere Christian sympathy to the family. The Bible says the death of one of His saints is merely a 'homegoing'. We will all meet again. Lenora Dickson Booth, Crestview, Florida

Cindy, I know these years have been tough and that you are so glad your Mom is home with Jesus. So many great memories have come to mind of Pete and Xavia and the Barbecue Club. Love to you.

Xavia was my first cousin and I loved her from the moment I first knew her. She would come to visit her cousins during the summer and everyone enjoyed the children of Uncle Charlie and Aunt Bessie. Time separated all of us and I could not stay in touch, but never stopped remembering all the fun times. May all the friends and family of Xavia find peace through their fond memories of her and Pete.

It seems like yesterday in November, 1979 at Cursillo 17 when I first met my precious friends, Xavia and Pete. Through these two beautiful Saints of God I was able to see God in a way that I never knew possible. Her genuine warmth was a beacon of light. We shared laughter, tears, and many, many good times. My love is with Cindy and her family during this time of letting go of someone so special. The last time I saw Xavia she was clueless who I was, but that genuine bond was still there. We...

In memory of my oldest sister and Xavia's mother, Bessie Wier, I would like to send love and condolences to the family. I am the last living sibling on her mother's side. Xavia was a blessing to all who knew her and will be sorely missed.
Love Xavia's 90 year old aunt, Carrie Martin Barlow
