As you know Joseph is growing up so fast...i know your up in heaven just smiling down at him. We all miss you so much. All I can do is imagine how proud you would be with all of us. I fell asleep last night thinking of my dad. I miss his deep voice and his bear roar which was his normal snore. I remember when we would go camping and the people from the neighboring sites would come over to see what was making that loud noise. They would see my dad sleeping outside, without shelter, without blankets. He would sleep on a cot at the foot of his truck in just his shorts. He never got cold. In the mornings, he would tell us stories of critters who came to see him; bear cubs,...

Happy Birthday Dad. This is also my first Birthday since your passing. I'm 25 tomorrow and I remember last year. We went to eat at a chinese place and we just happened to pass a carnival in a nearby parking lot. I ran into the Kmart and bought a disposible camera. You looked at me funny but you went along with it.. we played games and you won some toys. You smiled and we posed and took pictures with the carnies. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to me.
