Dear Andrea, Jeremy and Nick,
We haven't met, but Zenny and I were cousins, and so we are cousins once removed. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I can still picture your father...he was so handsome. We spent vacations during the summer visiting your grandfather,(my Uncle George), Aunt Ann and cousins Zenny and Ori in Danbury. Alternate years, they would come visit us at our home in Bethesda, MD. We always looked forward to those vacations and visits. Zenny was always so much fun,...

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Andrea, Jeremy and Nick,
You may not remember me. I met you for the first time at your Grandfather's funeral. We are first cousins once removed as I am a first cousin to your father. I haven't seen your father since my wedding in 1983, but remember him bragging about his children. My sisters, brother and I used to visit him and his family in Danbury when we were little. He was always fun to be around and very personable. I am sorry our families drifted apart. Maybe someday you guys...
