Not sure what to say?

Thank you, Mrs Weber for being a guiding light and amazing teacher to not only me, but hundreds of others. The wit, wisdom, dedication, and inspiration you have provided throughout a lifetime of teaching and music making are without compare, and continue to live on.

Godspeed and prayers to you on this next journey. Somewhere, I know that other souls are enjoying your hearty laugh and sense of adventure.

I wish I could present on January 26th to share in celebrating a life...

Thank you, Yaada Weber, for being my faithful and encouraging teacher from grade 7 through grade 12. I wish I knew more about your compositions, but I did not grow up in a period when women were expected to compete! From her inspiration, I have played many years and all over the US and Canada.

Our dear teacher and friend, Yaada Weber, will be honored during the 10 AM Church Service at First Presbyterian Church of Oakland on Sunday, January 26, 2020. A reception will follow in the Reception Room. The address is 2619 Broadway, Oakland, CA 94612. Friends and former students please join us in celebration of Yaada's life.

Yaada was my daughter's flute teacher, "music mother" and an advocate for over 6 years. When she learned I would like be begin singing in the Oakland symphony Chorus, she coached me for almost nothing in Bel Canto singing and set me off on a professional choral singing career that lasted for 35 years. My daughter went on to Peabody Conservatory and began a flute career which continues through today, promoting Yaada's love for recently composed flute music with an equally gifted pianist,...

I was one of Yaada' students and have continued playing after moving to Los Angeles from the Bay Area. I am dedicating my performances today and this year to her memory. Gina Buban

I read with sadness about Yaada's passing. She had been my flute teacher when I was a girl in Oakland. Although I never achieved a high level of playing, I have enjoyed playing the flute fas an amateur for more than 60 years. I'm especially remembering her emphasis on tone and her insistence on starting practice sessions with long tones.
Rest in peace dear teacher.
