I am so blessed to have been close to your family. Dr. Saf was one of the most beautiful characters around. Uncommonly great wisdom clothed with an even greater humility. A deep love and genuine concern for people. Equanimity and an encouraging word even in the toughest circumstances. Subtle humor that you were lucky to catch. Decidedly hopeful.
Many eulogies paint a kinder picture of a person; for Yahya, none could do him justice.
I am a richer man for knowing him.
