I was in Cyrus Adler AZA with Yale. He was the mentor and hero to many younger guys like me. Coincidentally, like Yale, my son went to NYU and works at Arnold and Porter. I know he will be missed by his wife, family, and friends, in Houston. My deepest sympathy.

Professor Yale Rosenberg always radiated peace of mind and a loving spirit, something cherished by the students in the harried and high stress environment of a law school. Although I never had the privilege to take one of his classes, his wife, and fellow Professor Irene Rosenberg was one of my favorite instructors and through her I had the opportunity to meet him. I am deeply saddened to hear of Yale's passing. He was such a special person--witty, kind, and endearing. As one of his students, he made an enormous impression on me. My heart goes out to Irene and his family upon this tremendous loss.

Yale was a very special adopted relative of mine. He always showed a genuine interest in me and my family. His involvement with Judaism and the Jewish people was very inspiring for us all. Cindy and I send our sincere condolences to Irene and the rest of the family. We will miss him dearly.
