Dr. Yam Shun Tong

I just found out of his passing. My condolences to the family and staff. He was the best doctor I´ve ever had. He successfully delivered 2 of my babies. Aged 14 and 9. We always talk about him and how he would joke with me about the babies gaining weight. He will definitely be missed.

I saw Dr. Tong shortly before he passed away and was shocked at his passing. Doctors like Dr. Tong are so rare these days. His great bedside manner and ability to put patients at ease. As I struggle to find good gynecological care now, I remember him and his kindness. Women lost a great advocate.

I just found out that Dr Tong passed away. He was so kind, funny, compassionate and had the best bedside manner. I actually called him once to ask him if he could talk to a friend of mine that had an issue and needed a consult. He did! Without knowing her, he talked to my friend and advised on her medical issue. Fast forward many years, I just looked him up to see if he could again consult with a friend. To my great shock, I found his obituary. This world lost a great doctor and human being....

I started a new job recently and yet again nothing but wonderful things i heard about you Dr. Tong! Not only that in meant a fellow woman who was a patient of yours and she is a nurse with me, we talk all aboit how funny you were and caring. Thanks for continuing to connect us together woth eachother. Rip Dr. Tong the most wonderfulness Dr ever!!!! God bless you.

I am so saddened to hear of Dr. Tongs passing. He was a very personable, kind, caring doctor. He performed 2 surgeries for me and answered my many questions with patience and professionalism. He was a wonderful doctor.

I went to medical school with Yam and am deeply saddened by hearing of his passing, I have often thought to call him throughout the years since we spent our 4 years in medical school and were friends. I am so sad that I never called. He was always a bright spot in everyone's day. He was calm, kind, and witty. He took me to lunch in Chinatown one day, and I was fascinated by his habit of drinking plain hot water. He said boiling water was necessary back in Hong Kong, and that was his habit. I...

I wanted to extend my condolences to the family. Doctor Tong was an amazing doctor that took care of me after a 2018 surgery he performed. I am forever grateful. May he rest in paradise.
