Dearest Kimie and family, I was saddened to read of your mother's passing. I can remember your mom fixing us a snack whenever I came over to play when we were in elementary school. This may sound silly, but I think of your mother when I'm cooking and chopping celery, because she taught you and me that it's easier to chop when you remove the strings first. Childhood memories are often the most lasting, and your mother and her gentleness are certainly part of mine.
My Deepest Sympathy,
Jennifer Simmons
